When approaching a new composition, I work most effectively by simply sitting at my keyboard and playing, moulding ideas by ear. This process is informed by my experience as a performer on tenor and baritone saxophone, piano, and percussion/drums. I relish pushing creative and technical limits to ensure each project's soundtrack is the best it can be.

I graduated from the University of Bristol with an MA in Composition for Film and Television in 2017 and a first class honours Music BA in 2014, specialising in composition and performance. I am a BAFTA Connect member and was a jury member for the Royal Television Society's West of England awards in 2023. I live and work in Birmingham, playing percussion in the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra and arranging film screenings as a Senior Programmer with community cinema Screen B14.
