Owain Astles' docu-drama Sleeping Rough: Catherine's Story featuring my original score has been selected as a finalist for Kino London's August edition of The People's Film Festival. If the film is successfully selected for the next round, it will be screened at Kino London's annual gala event and potentially. Keep an eye out for further news of the film in this and other festivals!

Sleeping Rough is an important film because All the events in the film were described to the filmmakers by members of the homeless community - everything that takes place has happened to someone. While the events follow a script, all the dialogue is improvised, and was established through a series of rehearsals between Owain Astles, the film’s director, and the film’s cast, most of whom have experience of homelessness themselves. Scenes in the film were shot on location, in shelters and soup kitchens, and on the streets, so the actors were plunged right into the situations they were bringing to life. Further details of the film and past and upcoming screenings are available on the Pastles Productions website.
