Andrew Pasonage's new podcast "BS-Free" made for and by the people of Bristol's BS3 area has just launched, offering support and inspiration for life under lockdown and featuring some of my original music! You can listen to the first episode on Anchor FM, which covers a transatlantic challenge in the balance, the Windmill Hill DJ taking his music to a higher place, and the key workers who decided not to send their children to school plus advice on meal planning and wellbeing during quarantine.

Although the audience for the podcast is intended to be local, Andrew has done such a great job at finding engaging and inspiring stories that I'm certain listeners outside of Bristol will enjoy it too. Please keep an eye out for future episodes too!

Frinin and Bok's Short film "Perfectionist" directed by James Hood and featuring my original score has just been released on Vimeo! You can watch below:

A simmering rivalry between two brothers boils over in this dark rumination on artistic obsession. Feuds become fires when these skilled craftsmen are tempted by an impossible task, promising untold riches. ‘Perfectionist’ unsettlingly reflects on the troubles which can consume the creative mind and the lengths considered necessary to protect an artist's craft.

For this film I created a dark, experimental score that is built from saxophone phrases and extended techniques, you can stream and buy the soundtrack on my releases page as well as Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and others. The film has also been submitted to a number of festivals so please keep an eye out for details of screenings!

Frinin & Bok's short film Perfectionist directed by James Hood and featuring my original score will premiere online this Saturday at 8pm GMT. The soundtrack will also release on iTunes, Tidal, Spotify and other streaming services at the same time; you can presave it on Spotify here.

I had an absolute blast composing an experimental, atmospheric score built around layered saxophone noises, textures and melodies to accompany the eerie and unsettling tale of two rival brothers who get an unknown visitor with an unusual request. Further details of the film are available on Frinin & Bok's website, please keep an eye out for information on how to stream the film this weekend shortly.
