"Virtual Spring" Premieres at Tokyo Lift-Off Festival 🦾

Virtual Spring, a science fiction horror short film by Joe Bertrand featuring my original soundtrack will premiere in Japan later this year! Selected for Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival, the film is a commentary on technology and artificial intelligence through its depiction of a dark and dangerous near future.

The festival showcases global entrants and spans a week-long celebration in the heart of Japanese modern culture. It is sure to be an exciting exchange of truly extraordinary cinema, you can explore the full programme and secure tickets over on the festival website.

"No Worries If Not" Wins Reel Brum First Place 🥇

I'm very excited to share that Emma Hodgkinson's hilarious comedy short No Worries If Not, which features my original score, has just won first place at Flatpack Festival's Reel Brum strand! It was such a wonderful surprise to take home the top trophy when the competition was so fierce, I loved watching the other films in competition on the big screen and of course celebrating with the other winners.

It was a real privilege working with such a talented team to help bring to life a story that is both funny and meaningful - speaking to the people pleaser in us all. Ricardo Bouyett's short film LYT: Living Your Truth which features my original soundtrack has just been selected for screening as part of Open Road Film Festival in Washington, D.C. Organised in collaboration with ValleyPlace Arts, the festival is a celebration of short film in all its forms and includes in person screenings, streamed Q&A's with filmmakers and more.
