Sleeping Rough is a docu-drama based on real life stories of homelessness directed by Owain Astles and featuring my original score. On Friday 19th June at 13:00 BST, Owain will be giving a talk exploring the practice of Participatory Video and its uses in empowerment and activism, particularly investigating how the practice is responding to the pandemic and to an artistic space that is increasingly virtual. He will also reflect on working with people experiencing homelessness, his own experiences with the issue, and how art and media can be a tool for reflection and empowerment.
